Description

Keller's DCX-22 series are autonomous, rechargeable battery powered level and temperature loggers ideal for shallow or deep well water logging applications. Utilizing proven pressure sensor technology and advanced microprocessor-based electronics, the DCX-22 series is designed and constructed to provide years of trouble-free service under the most demanding conditions while providing an ideal solution to disposable data loggers.

The Keller DCX-22 series is available in pressure ranges up to 100 mWC. The measured values are mathematically compensated for all linearity and temperature errors of the pressure sensor. The non-volatile memory ensures high data security while storing up to 57,000 user-specified data points. Data capture is accomplished by periodic data transfer to a laptop or Pocket PC (Windows CE) or, for remote installations, by GSM modem technology. The rechargeable battery, which can provide up to 10 years service between charges, is charged via a USB connection during data retrieval.

The Keller DCX-22 series is available in 4 models to cover a wide range of environments and applications:

  • DCX-22:

The DCX-22 is comprised of an absolute sensor, electronics and battery all housed in a stainless steel tube. For data read-out the DCX-22 must be recovered from the measurement point.
  • DCX-22 SG:

The DCX-22 Sealed Gauge sensor is connected by waterproof cable to a surface mounted housing with the data read-out port. This arrangement allows for easier data recovery from fixed installations.
  • DCX-22-VG:

The DCX-22 Vented Gauge sensor is connected by waterproof cable to a surface mounted housing with the data read-out port. This arrangement allows for easier data recovery from fixed installations. The transmitter is barometric compensated by a vent tube within the cable.
  • DCX-22 AA:

The DCX-22 Absolute-Absolute is a dual sensor that has two pressure sensors, one in the fluid and one in the atmosphere. They can use a non-vented sensor as they can account for atmospheric changes without worrying about moisture getting in the vent tube.

Keller Logger DCX 4.0 is a Windows-based software allowing users to configure level loggers and display measurements. The Writer function enables the configuration and start of the logger while the Reader function allows the data to be read out into a file. Values may be graphically displayed, exported, air pressure compensated or converted into other units. The software greatly increases the versatility and ease-of-use of all Keller DCX-22 series level loggers.
